A Day in the Life of Daniel
Hello,
my name is Daniel. I live in Manhattan,
New York and go to a school called P.S.9.
P.S.9 is close to many landmarks such as the Museum of Natural History,
or Central Park. Well, anyway my average day is somewhat like
others:
Probably,
the hardest part of my day is waking up in the morning. Like many other Americans, I’m particularly
lazy. Usually, getting out of bed takes
about 10 minutes to achieve. However,
once I get out of bed, I’m not that tired anymore.
Breakfast
is one of the meals I actually like during the day. The reason being that my
mom makes excellent breakfast foods like fried matzo or pancakes. During breakfast I usually stuff myself
silly before going to school. I, like
many other kids, take the bus to school.
Generally,
I enjoy going to my school, except on Mondays because it’s pretty hard ending
the weekend and starting school again.
In school, my favorite subject is math…. That is academic subject. Like most kids my favorite thing in school
is gym. I enjoy running around from
time to time and gym’s one of those times that I can.
After
school, activities vary depending on the weather. Obviously, if it’s a rainy day, I won’t go wading around in Central
Park. However, if it is a nice day,
I’ll go to the park with my friends.
Or, if I’m feeling a bit odd, I’ll go to the Historical society. When I get home from my strenuous, laborious
I usually do my homework, have dinner, and watch T.V. Then I do something I love to do, sleep.
Over
my weekends, I don’t stay around the house and do nothing. I go places and do things, such as take a
swim at Columbia University
with my friends, or go see a Broadway
Musical. Occasionally, I’ll go see
a Yankee game at Yankee stadium. Basically, my weekends are packed.
